A lifespan of a male orca in the wild can be 30 to 50 years & females live to 50 to almost 100 years

Captivity the oldest whale has been 30 years but the average lifespan in captivity is less than that

Collapsed dorsal fin is when the fin of the orca is tilted to the side which means they aren't well nutrient and live a small area

SeaWorld claims that it happens to the male orcas in the wild & it's a common thing which is false!! It only happens to 1% in the wild being not common at all!

Most the male whales kept in captivity have a collapsed dorsal fin.

In the wild these animals don't have time to suntan in the sun or expose to the sun because they are constantly moving. In captivity their tanks are only 40 ft deep exposing them to the sun causing them to have sunburns. The way SeaWorld covers it up is by spraying a type of sunblock called "Black Zinc Oxide" which covers the burns but isn't it too late the damage is already been done.
