About Tilikum...

Everyone who has watched the documentary, Blackfish knows about famous Tilikum. Tilikum is a male orca who has spent 33 years in captivity. Tilikum originally comes from Iceland at the age of two he was kidnapped and taken into captivity. His first location was Sealand. At Sealand he put was in a tank with two other orcas, they weren't kind to him. Tilikum was was a target to the other orcas in tank because he was seen less dominant. He was moved from Sealand and transfer to SeaWorld Orlando due an incident that occurred. In his new locations there was also another incident with Tilikum. He was blamed for two killings there. But as far as anyone knows SeaWorld Orlando will continue to be his home. As it right now, Tilikum is the biggest orca in captivity weighing about to 12,500 pounds and reaching 22 feet in length.
